This is a very unique Vintage pendant. It is an aged silver to resemble a rock or stone with a cut-out of a cross. The pendant is 1 3/4 inches long. It is stamped on the back with what appears to say "Sterling". It hard to make it out completely. I tested it with a magnet and it did not stick so that indicates it is probably sterling as well. I have attached it to a 19 inch silver chain that is NOT sterling. This is so unusual and in excellent condition. It is likely from the 1970's.
