This is a beautiful Vintage sleeveless over-dress with matching pants, from the 1960's.
This style dress is commonly referred to as a "hostess dress".
Very colorful print with gold brocade trim at the waistband. Pink, orange, black and turquoise print.
The pants have a wide leg and elastic waist and the dress zips up the back.

I purchased this dress from an estate sale in Providence, Rhode Island. The house was up for sale and it was a "house lost in time". NOTHING had changed in the house since the 1960's. The woman even had rotary telephones, still in use. This dress came out of the closet in the master bedroom, where it hung since the 1960's. The bedroom had velvet flocked wallpaper, 1960's curtains, bedspread - all untouched all these years. The woman's husband died many years ago and she closed the door to the bedroom and never moved a thing. It was really something to see! I would love for this dress to go to a good home, with the story to go with it.

~ Bust: 34-36 inches around
~ Waist: 27-29 inches around
~ Length: 56 inches

Pant measurement:
~ Waist: 24-28 inches around
~ Hips: 36-41 inches around
~ Rise: 12 inches high
~ Inseam: 28 inches (seems short, but it's actually longer when you account for the very high rise of the pant)

~ Condition: Very good. It has been washed in the sink with a mild detergent and is ready to wear.
