OH my!! Where do I begin? This is a very high quality Vintage black velvet cape made by Saks Fifth Avenue. This dates to the 1950s or 60's. It is floor length with four velvet covered buttons up the front. Glossy black satin quality lining throughout. It has cut out slits at the hip line to put your arms through. Large dramatic hood with a ruffled velvet trim and black grosgrain ribbon. Amazing!!!! I have had this cape in my personal collection for about 10 years and never wore it, so it's time to let it go.

It is 53" long.
Size Marked: Small, though it fits a variety of sizes since it's a very full, open style garment.
For reference my mannequin's measurements are
Shoulders: 15" across
Bust: 34" around
Waist: 24" around
There was room to spare on the mannequin.
I can't say enough about how incredibly gorgeous this cape is - there is a substantial weight to the fabric that testifies to the upscale quality of this!
